What kind of cameras do you need to capture an explosion? And...what do you use to make a movie VS a real life explosion? Let’s take a look at the variety of high-speed cameras, the latest in thermal imaging, and camera support systems that allowed us to capture an explosion in a way that’s never been seen before!

To make a movie you need a cast. Usually it is just me but for this video, for this idea to work, I needed some more characters. Hang out with MKBHD, Rosanna Pansino, Casey Neistat and myself as we go through rehearsals, makeup and some bloopers.

Jake steps into the film “Back to the Future” to find out if you could survive the massive pressure wave generated by a giant guitar amp, time travel paradoxes, and the electricity from a lightning bolt travelling through your body…all while desperately trying to get back to the future!

Donning his black suit, Jake finds out if you could survive being swallowed by a gargantuan alien insect, the kickback of an alien gun, and the immense power and consequences generated by condensing a universe into a very small volume…as he attempts to save Earth from complete destruction.

Jake ain’t afraid of no ghost (but he actually is) as he finds out if you could survive being crushed by a giant marshmallow creature, wearing a portable nuclear accelerator on your back, and the potential cataclysmic reaction of crossing proton streams…while preventing the end of life as we know it on Earth.

Mysterious forces are at play as Jake gets transported into a crazy video game called CYSTM, a game that asks, could you survive the movies…or in this case could you survive a superhuman punch to the chest, the deadly snake venom…or cake? Shoeless and all alone in a half-built skyscraper, Jake fights his way through a well dressed bad guy while exploring if you could survive jumping off the roof of a skyscraper with only a fire hose tied around your waist, crawling through air ducts to avoid said bad guy, eating a Twinkie, and dropping C4 down an elevator shaft…could you survive Die Hard?

In space no one can hear Jake scream...but as Jake races to destroy a terrifying xenomorph hunting his crew, they’ll learn if you can survive the world’s deadliest acids, how to communicate across the vast distances of space…and why you should never, EVER fire a flamethrower in a spaceship.

Cocky Science Aviator Jake Roper feels the need for speed and will be pushed to the limit while investigating what happens to the human body when subjected to extreme G-forces, intense acrobatic maneuvers, and breaking the sound barrier. Special appearances include Jay Ellis, Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski, as well as creators Michael Stevens of Vsauce, AtomicMari and iDubbbz.

With the prehistoric beasts running rampant, ruining Jake's vacation at Jurassic Park, the race is on to get to the last boat off the island...and see if you could survive the awesome power of a T-Rex bite, being hunted by pterosaurs and conversely, could dinosaurs actually survive in our world? Years after an alien invasion, Jake quietly avoids the sound sensitive alien race that is hunting him.
