Wealthy London housewife Simeone Cooper has to return to her home town in Australia, where she is forced revisit the past and finally face up to the friends and family she left behind - who only ever knew her as Sammy.

Sammy starts working for an old school mate, who's keen to punish her for the past. Her ex also makes it clear he hasn't forgiven her.

Sammy goes snooping for evidence to blackmail Chris. Lenny pals up with a fellow misfit and a date lands Jean in hot water.

Sammy pitches her partnership deal to Chris during a business trip. But then an incident in a casino puts her in an awkward situation.

After a harsh realisation, Sammy aims to reclaim her worth by helping at the school disco. But the dance soon turns into a debacle.

Sammy gets good news about her husband's estate. But as she plans their escape, things prove far more complicated than she imagined.

Sammy's time in London comes to an end when she receives a call instructing her to return to Australia as a witness in the Terry Harris missing person's case.

Bev realises that the Coopers need her to lie to the cops and looks to profit from their desperation. However, Bev's exploitative behaviour unravels when Jim comes to her side in her hour of need.

Fairbank discovers an unexpected new lead that puts Abby, Tess and Lenny at the centre of his investigation into the disappearance of Terry Harris.

Whilst helping evacuate nursing home residents, Fairbank stumbles across Mrs Atkins chattering about vital case information. As night falls, the Coopers struggle to move the evidence.
