Episode 1

14 celebrity recruits face the toughest course to date, played out in the unforgiving terrain of the Jordanian desert. The recruits face an intense start to the course, crawling through sand in blistering 40-degree heat, before facing a gas attack.

The celebrity recruits must jump from a helicopter in pairs. Next, they take the life of a teammate in their hands as one of them free-falls from a 150-foot cliff, being kept from crashing to the ground by their partner.

The recruits take on the gruelling task of moving a broken-down one-tonne Jeep in searing heat and through thick sand. Then the celebs must balance on ropes 160 feet above the ground to cross a ravine.

The recruits must make split-second decisions about whether to shoot in a simulated warzone. Then the recruits are forced to dive backwards from a seven-metre platform into the Gulf of Aqaba in the dead of night.

The recruits compete in three brutal challenges that test their leadership skills. First they must construct a zipline, then go head-to-head in murderball, and finally they must work out how to pull a 200kg sled loaded with equipment up a revine.

16 celebrity recruits are pushed to their limit in the unforgiving Vietnamese jungle. The new recruits must first traverse parallel metal bars suspended 50 feet above the ground. Then they must fight against each other in the rawest form of combat.

The celebs face a punishing search operation through a series of rooms filled with CS gas. And they're tested under pressure during a rescue mission when they're tasked with extracting two of their fellow recruits who've been taken hostage.

Celebrities who think they have what it takes to pass the SAS selection are pushed to their limit by an elite team of ex-special forces operators. Fifteen recruits from the worlds of entertainment, sport and journalism take part in the hardest course yet, as Chief Instructor Billy and his team expose them to winter warfare training on New Zealand's South Island. For their first task, the celebs must traverse the Trainasium - parallel metal bars suspended 335ft in the air. Then, the recruits' mindsets are tested under extreme pressure when they stage an intense hostage rescue mission.

The spotlight focuses on the Special Forces' high levels of discipline. In the first task, a terrifying feat tests the celebrities both mentally and physically as they race in a forward abseil down a 300-ft working dam. Then, under cover of darkness, the recruits must perform one of the most feared tasks - the backwards dive. Will the celebrity recruits conduct themselves in the manner required?

This series comes from Wales, the birthplace of the Special Forces. For their first task, the celebs must plunge into the freezing sea, swim to a rendezvous point and attempt to jump onto a moving speedboat.

The recruits go head-to-head in a terrifying hang-tough task 160 feet above a quarry - testing mental and physical strength. Then they take on a car ambush task where they must drive into a simulated war zone, pick up an ally, and vacate hostile territory into a safe zone, intact.
