Button Moon (1980)
Button Moon is a quirky, popular children's television programme broadcast in the United Kingdom in the 1980s on the ITV Network. Thames Television produced each episode, which lasted ten minutes and featured the adventures of Mr. Spoon who, in each episode, travels to Button Moon in his homemade rocket-ship. All of the characters within the show are based on kitchen utensils, as well as many of the props. Once on Button Moon, which hangs in "blanket sky", they have an adventure, and look through Mr. Spoon's telescope at someone else such as the Hare and the Tortoise, before heading back to their home on 'Junk Planet'. Episodes also include Mr. Spoon's wife, "Mrs. Spoon", their daughter, "Tina Tea-Spoon" and her friend "Eggbert". The series ended in 1988 after 91 episodes.

⏱ —Mr. Spoon meets Captain Large and the Bottle Army. Through his telescope he sees a Witch's magic.

⏱ —Through his telescope, Mr. Spoon spies a Billy Goat.

⏱ —Mr. Spoon travels to Button Moon and meets Sid and Baby.
5. The Three Wishes
⏱ —Mr. Spoon flies to Button Moon where he meets up with Captain Large and the Bottle Army. He also meets Bertie and Gertie, who have three wishes.

⏱ —On his way to Button Moon, Mr. Spoon sees the stars in Blanket Sky playing a game. Through his telescope he sees two bird's and a camel who help cheer up a sad princess.
7. The Duck Who Forgot What He Was
⏱ —Mr. Spoon helps find the saucers the cups have lost. Through his telescope he spots a duck who has lost it's memory.
8. Scruffy and the Bone
⏱ —Through his telescope Mr. Spoon sees a pair of dogs playfully named Scruffy and Basil who play "Hunt the Bone".
9. The Grasshopper and the Ants
⏱ —Through his telescope Mr. Spoon sees the classic tale of the lazy grasshopper and the busy worker ants gathering food for the long harsh winter.

⏱ —Through his telescope Mr. Spoon spies a Magic Totem pole and brightly coloured birds.
11. The Hare and the Tortoise
⏱ —Through his telescope on Button Moon Mr. Spoon watches on as the classic story of the Tortoise and the Hare takes place on the planet below. Also while on Button Moon Mr. Spoon meets the talking umbrellas.
12. The Fox and the Hen
⏱ —While on Button Moon Mr. Spoon finds a Wardrobe and makes a lonely dress happy. Through his telescope Mr. Spoon sees the age old tale of The Fox and the Hen.

⏱ —En route to Button Moon, Mr. and Mrs. Spoon and their daughter Tina Teaspoon watch the paper circus perform. Through his telescope Mr. Spoon sees his old friend Scruffy the dog whose best friend Basil is moving away.

⏱ —It's snowing on Button Moon, and when Mr Spoon flies there in his spaceship he meets Bottle Army. Through the telescope we see a beaver making a canoe.
4. The Biggest Tomato in the World
⏱ —Mr and Mrs Spoon and Tina Teaspoon play hide-and-seek on Junk Planet. Tina and Mr Spoon fly to Button Moon and see a door key playing the game, too.
5. Scruffy and the Sparrow
⏱ —Mr Spoon, Tina and Egbert fly to Button Moon in the spaceship where they find Bottle Army cleaning the castle.
6. The Dragon Has a Cold
⏱ —When Mr Spoon flies in his spaceship to Button Moon, the noise wakes Tina.
7. The Flying Jam Sandwich
⏱ —The Spoon family washes the spaceship before Mr Spoon travels through space, past flying paint pots. On Button Moon are two balls of wool, Bundle and Fluff. Vacuum Cleaner rescues Fluff when the blast from Mr Spoon's spaceship blows her away. Through the telescope you see Tortoise and Hare and the Flying Jam Sandwich.
8. The Persian Market
⏱ —Mr Spoon travels in his spaceship, past flying cups and saucers, sugar lumps and stars.
9. Music in the Air
⏱ —Tine and Egbert go with Mr Spoon in the spaceship and see dancing sweets and lollipops.
10. Scruffy at the Seaside
⏱ —Mrs Spoon's friend babysits so that she and Mr Spoon can fly to Button Moon.
11. The Little Red Hen
⏱ —Queenie Jelly puts on a royal show for Tina as a birthday treat. Gingerbreadman lifts rock cakes and through the telescope we see the Little Red Hen.
12. Getting Away from It All
⏱ —Mr Spoon flies to Button Moon in a spaceship. It is raining from a watering-can hidden behind clouds.
13. The Lion and the Mouse
