Twelve teams, driving their own cars, embark on a grueling 4000 mile road rally with huge cash on the line. Teams compete in a challenge where they have to hit rows of exploding targets with their cars. The teams must decide if they take the route mapped out for them, or if they go their own way. If they choose to take their own route.

Team Lamborghini and Team Nissan 240SX face car troubles. The drivers must compete in a challenge in which they have to destroy targets that are placed behind a school bus.

The remaining teams join forces to try and eliminate one of the most successful duos. The drivers have to compete in a challenge involving a high-speed driving slalom.

One team is given the advantage of knowing the area they are driving in, which gives them the leg up. This weeks race starts off in Wendover, Utah and heads to Salt Lake City, Utah. The challenge in this episode is to smash their cars through barriers in a timed, quarter-mile race.
